WHAT’S AUPAIR AND DEMIPAIR?

As an Aupair, you take part in a cultural exchange program.
You get the opportunity to EARN and LEARN.
It gives young people from overseas the opportunity to improve their English and live with an Australian family while providing Childcare and light housework in exchange for a small allowance.

Program Requirements

  • Be happy to help with childcare and light housework
  • Be fit and healthy; no pre-existing medical conditions
  • Have a valid WWCC (Working With Children Card)
  • Age 19 – 30
  • Working holiday VISA
  • Be unmarried with no children
  • Be flexible, friendly and open
DEMIPAIR
  • English level: Intermediate
  • Able to be Demipair for a period of 3 months
  • Up to 15 – 20 hours per week
AUPAIR
  • 200 hours of child care experience
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate
  • Able to be Aupair for a period of 6 months
  • Up to 25 – 40 hours per week
  • Have a valid driver’s license

Free Accommodation

You will get free accommodation as a reward.

Free Meal

Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner will be provided by your host family.

English Environment

OZiHOUSE offers only English speaking families to students.

Two Days Off

You will get 2 days off per week so you will be having your own time.

Weekly Allowance

Aupair will get a weekly allowance ($200-380).

Bonus

Aupair will get a bonus (up to $500) upon the completion of the placement.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

7:30 Begin work

8:00 Make breakfast and clean up breakfast dishes. 

8:30 Help kids get ready for school. 

8:45 Walk to kids’ school and Demipair is going to his/her school. 

15:00 Pick up kids from school. 

15:30 Assistance with homework, feeding snacks. 

16:30 Clean up dishes, put kid’s laundry away, and clean up toys. 

17:30 Supervising children while parents getting ready for dinner OR help dinner preparation. 

19:30 Family Dinner/assistance with cleaning. 

20:00 Help bath for kids/Tidies up shower/bathroom after use. 

7:30 Begin work

8:00 Make breakfast and clean up breakfast dishes. 

8:30 Help kids get ready for school. 

8:45 Drive kids to school. 

9:00 Put in kid’s laundry. Play with toys, books and games with kids. Fold laundry. 

11:00 Take kids to a library for storytime. 

12:00 Make lunch. 

12:30 Clean up dishes, put kid’s laundry away, and clean up toys. 

13:30 Put kids down for a nap; vacuum playroom. 

15:00 Charlie wakes up from a nap. Pick up Alex from school. 

16:00 Make kids a snack & help with homework; play with kids. 

17:00 Host parent returns from work. Off duty.
